So, my day is actually not as pack as yesterday. One lecture for 2 hours on 10 am, 2hours of TEDxIntiSubang. I thought it would be an interesting one or at least a nice one as no class on 8 a.m., best thing ever. Moreover, today is International Women Day, so yay! treat me nice.👄 Eventually, things do not turn out nicely. 😓
So, for my first class, I failed to look for the lecture hall. So I asked the counter, the seniors and all their instruction is not clear. I read the map and the room should be on the ground floor and yet I walked through every class, no one is labeled as G-LT3. Apparently, it is room 1.10👿 Seriously?! They can't even label their room nicely. Pray for you, Inti Subang.
Then, I met with my new Econ lecturer. Well, he was better than my expectation since he was labeled by the senior as the worst lecturer ever. Oh gosh! Why I did not meet Samuel Lee, whom also known as the best lecturer ever. So, he is Dr Tee. He looks like a typical Chinese guy with metal half frame spec and the army hairstyle. And, with a long fingernail. Lots of his action and posture even the words he said reminds me about my sis. He is honest, like seriously very~ honest. He started like "So, the lecture slide I upload on Moodle is actually from the textbook publisher. Even though this book is not enough for this subject, and there is some not related topic...But anyway, I am going to use this as your lecturer which is me, is very lazy. Moreover, do compare the slide with the course structure as I just upload everything without filtering."
"So, according to the course structure, as you can see, your marks will be given by assessments blah blah blah, you can read on your own."
Then he started teaching. He does not even try to control and warn the class for being noisy. In the middle of the lecture, " What the hack the college make me have my class in this room, so big and yet no mic for me. If you can't hear what I am saying, just ask your friend later la. "
And, as mentioned above, he is the typical Chinese. He cannot speak s, m, l properly and all the tenses are in a mess.
So my day got worst when my COMM121 lecturer changed the tutorial time to Monday and Friday which I do not have class on both days. It then followed by lunch and sols training. Apparently, the sols training room is full so we decided to skip it since no attendant is given.
TEDx on 2 pm. The atmosphere is quite "cold" (should I use cold? or should I phrase it differently? Suggest me a word to replace it.) The second speaker actually kind of bored me off when he started on the formula of flexible diet. The third one was good, he is Marvin Wong, sharing about communication. One part of his talk captures my attention a lot when he said good friends do not equal to the friends who makes you feel good and positive and he shared about why we always have arguments as we are taught to listen for the purpose of responding instead of understanding.
So, the little things that happened after that just pissed me off. Each of them is actually small matter but when they come together, everything just sounds so bad. Firstly, the COMM121 lecturer changed the time again to all Friday class. Nothing better. I spent half of my day pursuing myself Monday class is alright. Then, my ChiBi character got killed when I almost reach the next level. Continue by the dirty toilet and occupied washing machine. Dan lain lain. One thing, and my skype. 💀
